About the role

  • As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for testing/validating of wet samples that come into QC and preparing those samples for spray testing.
  • You are responsible for property testing that is reported to the customer and is critical for accurate performance of the product.
  • You will work onsite in Richmond, VA and report to the Quality Control Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Document all testing activities in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices
  • Assist in troubleshooting quality issues and support investigations
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve non-conformances

Requirements

  • Ability to understand detailed directions and record information accurately
  • Basic knowledge of math and scientific principles
  • Ability to be on your feet for most duties
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs in order to handle materials

Nice to have

  • High School Diploma or GED required, some college preferred
