About the role

  • Job Details: Responsibilities: Refrigeration maintenances are responsible for documenting the readings for all the ammonia systems including compressors, condensers, evaporators, re-circulators, and any piping and associated equipment.
  • In addition to the ammonia systems, this person is responsible for Forklift preventative.
  • Maintenance/repair and any other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inspections on the equipment and perform mandatory checks multiple times a day.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of facility layout, tools, parts and equipment.
  • Maintain and monitor the ammonia refrigeration equipment within safety standards for the entire facility.

Requirements

  • Must be able to follow instructions both written and orally.
  • Must be a member of the HAZMAT Team.

  • Requirement: 6 months Industrial refrigeration experience and/or experience in HVAC required.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour

Nice to have

  • 6 months Industrial refrigeration experience and/or experience in HVAC required.
  • General maintenance in welding, electrical, and hydraulics preferred.

Skills

  • Must be able to work in hot outside temperatures of 118 degrees to cold temperatures of -10 degrees inside the freezer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shift of being on your feet and working on hard surfaces like concrete all day.
  • 180 days wait period from last termination date.
  • 3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before).
