About the role
- We are hiring a Software Engineer to contribute to the core systems behind our healthcare SaaS platform.
- You'll contribute to frontend and backend components and data workflows, working within established architectures while helping enhance performance, scalability, and reliability over time.
Responsibilities
- This role emphasizes writing high-quality, reliable code to deliver features and improve existing systems.
- Work closely with other engineers, as well as product owners and designers, to deliver new features and resolve bugs
- Develop standards-based APIs and services (REST, FHIR, HL7)
- A desire to raise the technical bar through design, mentorship, and example
- Partner closely with product, data, and security teams to solve real operational problems
- This role prioritizes building systems that remain correct, understandable, and dependable over time, not just shipping features quickly.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of professional software development experience
- Meaningful experience owning and operating production systems
- Significant production experience with one or more of the following: React, PHP/Zend, Ruby/Rails
- Experience That's Helpful (But Not Required)
- Experience working in HIPAA or HITRUST regulated environments
- Security-conscious engineering experience
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation
- $100,000 - $120,000 annual salary range, depending on experience
