- The Project Manager is a key leadership role in managing high-value heavy-highway and heavy-civil construction projects.
- This position requires a strong grasp of project leadership, strategic planning, client relations, and performance monitoring.
- Utilize Oracle P6 Scheduling Software for intricate project scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking progress.
Responsibilities
- The role involves significant use of project management and design software.
- Create and deliver presentations and reports using Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive) to convey project information clearly and persuasively.
- Manage and nurture relationships with clients, subcontractors, government agencies, and other key stakeholders.
- Implement cost-control measures and financial optimization strategies without compromising project quality.
- Use Autodesk AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation for design verification, compliance checks, and quality assurance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management plans and strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Lead all phases of project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and client requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, with a preference for advanced degrees or certifications in project management.
- 7+ years of experience in project management within heavy-highway or heavy-civil construction sectors.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI), Oracle P6 Scheduling Software, and Autodesk AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation.
- Ability to navigate and oversee work in various construction site environments.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage large teams and complex projects.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Physical Demands
- Availability to travel to various project locations as needed.
