Catering Prep Coordinator This job is for the Catering Prep Coordinator at our restaurant located in The Shoppes of Ocoee.
Our Catering Prep Coordinator takes pride in creating classic recipes and flavors of a traditional New York deli.
This key role is critical to our success in executing the highest quality food with speed and efficiency.

Manage inventory of supplies and equipment needed for catering services.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
We maintain that commitment by hiring friendly, motivated individuals who make positive contributions to a well-run restaurant.
Maintain regular schedule in compliance with TooJay's business levels which may vary based on the needs of the restaurant and check list protocols per Covid-19 standards of cleanliness

High school diploma or equivalent experience in a restaurant or related field
Ability to stand during entire shift, exerting up to 50 pounds as needed
Must be able to maneuver safely throughout the walk-ins and kitchen during the shift
You must be able to work in the kitchen, preparing all catered meals for offsite client.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Familiarity with menu planning and event coordination in a catering context.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Driver's License and current Florida auto insurance required.
Has the ability to reach overhead, carry/transport sheet pans, handle hot and cold beverages, bend below the waist, crouch and communicate intentions to co-workers
Maintain high standards of personal grooming, including wearing proper uniform and facial mask and gloves when/where if required and as regulated
