About the role

  • We refine chemical material solutions with game-changing products.
  • The purpose of the Production Operator role is to operate and troubleshoot plant extrusion equipment, machines and lines; for example, feeders, extruders, computers, scales, forklifts, packers and chain hoists.
  • You must follow standard operating procedures and ensure that health, safety and compliance is your highest priority.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain and troubleshoot extrusion equipment and handle extrusion line cleanups and changeovers
  • Maintain departmental documentation

Requirements

  • Operate computer systems to perform various functions and processes required for your job

Nice to have

  • One year of manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge & Skills:
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make adjustments to equipment set up in order to produce highest quality material as possible

Skills

  • Fork truck training
  • Attain/maintain shuttle yard truck certification.
  • Attain/maintain operator qualification
  • Clearly and accurately communicate between shifts, various departments and with supervisors
