About the role
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, complaints, and returns.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer and vendor return processes, while serving as a key point of contact for customer quality-related inquiries and issues.
- Promote a culture of quality, support customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement of branch products, processes, and services.
- Perform internal quality audits and support external audits (customer, registrar, and compliance audits).
- Lead or support root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in quality systems or manufacturing
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100/AS9120
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Experience handling customer quality issues or complaints
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (post-secondary education preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong safety mindset
- Preferred Qualifications
Nice to have
- Internal Auditor certification
- ASQ CQE or Six Sigma Green Belt
- Customer-facing quality experience
- Manufacturing or distribution industry experience
