Responsibilities
- Support domestic income tax matters through data collection, tax research, and analysis of applicable tax laws.
- Support the maintenance and administration of Company's indirect tax software, Vertex.
- Help monitor state tax nexus exposure and support implementation of procedures to maintain compliance.
- Support the preparation of ASC 740 income tax provision schedules and related documentation for U.S. entities (Year and Quarters).
- Support monthly transfer pricing analysis, including country-by-country and profitability reviews.
Requirements
- Hearing Ability to detect noises with or without corrective device(s)
- Making Decisions Ability to make decisions that have a moderate impact
- Employees will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by the Supervisor.
Skills
- 1-4 years of relevant tax or accounting experience
- Basic understanding of federal, state, and local tax concepts
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- CPA License or progress toward CPA or CPA eligibility
- Public accounting experience
- Experience with sales and use tax compliance
- Exposure to ASC 740 or tax provision processes
- SAP experience
- Vertex experience
Compensation
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns.
