About the role
- At OUTFRONT Media, we activate brands in the real world, through high-impact billboards and transit media that connect with audiences where life happens.
- We're hiring a Commercial Account Executive to grow the Canton & Akron market, an underdeveloped territory with significant upside.
Responsibilities
- Execute strategic outbound efforts (cold outreach, networking, in-market presence) to build a high-quality pipeline
- Develop tailored proposals that align with client objectives and drive results
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and renewal
- Serve as the primary relationship owner, building trust and long-term partnerships
- Partner with internal teams (Creative, Charting, Operations, Sales Support) to bring campaigns to life
- Act as the client advocate, ensuring campaigns deliver on expectations
- This is a true hunter role for someone who wants to build a book of business, own a market, and bring modern thinking to out-of-home (OOH).
- As the primary revenue driver in your territory, you'll identify, develop, and close new business while building long-term client relationships through customized advertising solutions.
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of sales experience, ideally in media, advertising, or related industries
- Proven success exceeding quotas with a strong new business / hunter mentality
- Strong understanding of the full sales cycle, from cold outreach to close
- Ability to translate client needs into compelling, results-driven advertising solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Nice to have
- Experience with OOH, transit, digital, or programmatic media is a strong plus
