Responsibilities
- Effectively interpret and communicate analysis results within the context of the production facilities to maintain product quality.
- Implement all elements of the quality manual
- Maintain the validity of all documentation affecting the positions listed above
- Maintain the validity of all procedures affecting the positions listed above
- Maintain chemical solutions, laboratory instruments, perform standardization or calibrations, and a clean work environment.
- Perform daily testing requirements.
Requirements
- The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting.
- Associates Degree in chemistry, biology or Engineering or demonstrated skills and ability and/or equivalent work experience in the field is desired.
- A minimum of 1- 3 years of related experience through intern, co-op or actual work experience in mining, manufacturing or laboratory environment.
- All supplies required for testing
- All supplies required for sample shipments
- Attend all safety meetings as required
Nice to have
- BA/BS degree in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Physical Science, Chemical Engineering and/or related field.
