About the role
- Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) is looking to hire a skilled Medical Foster Coordinator to join our shelter clinic team.
- In this role you will join a passionate group of veterinarians and clinic technicians to make sure our most vulnerable animals find a much deserving foster home.
- PACC has on average 500 dogs and 100 cats onsite daily and many of those animals are recovering from severe to mild medical conditions.
Requirements
- Three years of experience with Pima County as an Animal Care Technician or Animal Care Field Officer.
- Valid driver license is required at time of application.
- Valid AZ driver license is required at time of appointment.
- Failure to obtain and maintain the required licenses and certifications shall be grounds for termination.
- A ccess to a registered/insured vehicle for business travel is required (business mileage reimbursed) at time of appointment.
- Completion of a rabies vaccination cycle is required within 2 months of hire.
Nice to have

- Minimum three (3) years experience working or volunteering in a veterinary clinic setting.
- Minimum three (3) years experience working in a sales, recruitment, or outreach position.
- Minimum two (2) years experience in a leadership role.

- Pima County Human Resources Department reserves the right to admit to the selection process only those candidates that meet the minimum qualifications.
- Candidates meeting the minimum qualifications may be further evaluated/scored against any advertised Preferred Qualifications.
Skills
- Prepares and presents reports on placement activities, program success, and areas for improvement;
- Ensures compliance with shelter policies and procedures, including safety protocols and personnel responsibilities.
Compensation
- $56,555 Annually
