About the role

Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) is looking to hire a skilled Medical Foster Coordinator to join our shelter clinic team.
In this role you will join a passionate group of veterinarians and clinic technicians to make sure our most vulnerable animals find a much deserving foster home.
PACC has on average 500 dogs and 100 cats onsite daily and many of those animals are recovering from severe to mild medical conditions.

Three years of experience with Pima County as an Animal Care Technician or Animal Care Field Officer.
Valid driver license is required at time of application.
Valid AZ driver license is required at time of appointment.
Failure to obtain and maintain the required licenses and certifications shall be grounds for termination.
A ccess to a registered/insured vehicle for business travel is required (business mileage reimbursed) at time of appointment.
Completion of a rabies vaccination cycle is required within 2 months of hire.

Minimum three (3) years experience working or volunteering in a veterinary clinic setting.
Minimum three (3) years experience working in a sales, recruitment, or outreach position.
Minimum two (2) years experience in a leadership role.
Selection Proce dure:
Pima County Human Resources Department reserves the right to admit to the selection process only those candidates that meet the minimum qualifications.
Candidates meeting the minimum qualifications may be further evaluated/scored against any advertised Preferred Qualifications.

Prepares and presents reports on placement activities, program success, and areas for improvement;
Ensures compliance with shelter policies and procedures, including safety protocols and personnel responsibilities.
