To contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/ processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures..
They may also lead a number of specialists to influence the operations of a department, in alignment with strategic as well as tactical priorities, while balancing short and long term goals and ensuring that budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements..

Develop and deliver on strategic agenda, focusing on addressing client demand through new products and other business drivers.
Drive change, mediate, and serve as a resource and representative on issues with other groups, representing desk values and issues to partner groups.
Partner with Middle Office and Settlements to represent the desk's objectives to improve processing and settlement functionality and improve efficiencies/reduce fails.

In-depth analysis with interpretative thinking will be required to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
Apply acquired business knowledge for development of required solutions.

Execute key aspects of the Global Equity Finance Business plan, particularly focusing on creating, implementing, and enhancing our current Synthetics Finance services and products.
Support the Equity Financing Franchise, as defined by the Business Head objectives.
