About the role
- IT Specialist Ken Garff Automotive Group | Utah Region Desktop Team | Salt Lake City, UT (On-Site) Salary: $21-25/hour DOE Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM.
- Occasional after-hours, weekend, or travel work may be requested.

Responsibilities
- Serve as first point of contact for IT support requests via service desk tickets
- Perform password resets and resolve authentication issues
- Support email, productivity software, and common business applications
- Image, configure, deploy, and support laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Support conference room technology, webcams, headsets, and related equipment
- Document known issues and solutions in knowledge base articles
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 2+ years in IT operations, technical support, or a related technology role.
- Relocation assistance is not provided; applicants must currently reside in the Salt Lake metro area or be willing to relocate at their own expense before starting.
Requirements
- Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Admin, solid understanding of Windows OS, intermediate hardware troubleshooting and repair skills, endpoint management, and modern business technology.
- Problem Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues, coordinate solutions, and improve technology processes.
- You enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and helping others succeed through technology.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the U.S., hold a valid driver's license, and maintain a professional appearance.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues, coordinate solutions, and improve technology processes.
Nice to have
- Experience with Windows, macOS, and iOS operation, deployment, and management
- Familiarity with Active Directory user management
- Experience with RSAT tools such as DHCP and DNS
- Basic knowledge of endpoint management or imaging tools
- IT-related certifications (A+, Network+, etc.)
