About the role
- Duties will encompass the operating room, pre -operative care or post-operative care to include both phase 1 and phase 2 recovery.
- Essential Job Functions • Directs all nursing activities relating to the procedures performed.
- Recognizes and interprets symptoms indicative of changes in condition of patient.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and completes assessment of patient needs to provide supportive care before, during and after surgery and maintains complete and accurate records.
- Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency environmental, employee or patient safety standards relevant to job performance.
- Performs other duties as assigned or as needed to meet the needs of the Surgery Center
- Will maintain ACLS
- Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance.
- Performs all other duties as assigned or as needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
Requirements
- Employees that require a licensed or certification must be properly licensed/certified and the licensure/certification must be in good standing.
Nice to have
- Bachelors degree in nursing is preferred Experience
- One year of operating room experience is desired in the OR
- Critical care experience preferred for PACU phase 1 Certifications and Licenses
- Current Montana state license as a registered nurse required
- CNOR and/or AORN professional affiliation preferred for the OR

- Minimum Qualifications Education
- Healthcare Provider CPR Certification Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
