About the role
- Stratolaunch is a technology accelerator that engineers operationally realistic testing at Mach 5+.
- Our air-launched, Talon testbeds are reusable, cost-effective platforms that enable routine access to the hypersonic environment.
- Understand and abide by all company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Review and develop company EH&S policies and procedures.
- Support manufacturing and operations teams as an information resource.
- Implement and enforce company EH&S programs, policies, and procedures.
- Support test hazard analyses.
- Conduct building and area inspections.
- We deliver flight data critical to validating system performance and achieving rapid technology deployment.
- Together with our customers, we drive innovations that are imperative to advancing national security.
- An EH&S Specialist II may be expected to attain and maintain certain professional certifications and complete continuing training in some areas.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in EH&S related field and 4+ years of work experience or 6+ years of work experience in the EH&S field.
- Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience researching and interpreting regulations (e.g. Cal/OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.).
- Ability to stand or walk 50% of the day or more
- Ability to obtain a high security clearance
- Experience developing written programs and company policy
- Strong basic mathematical skills
- Special remarks regarding work environment, if applicable
- This position is located in Mojave, CA
- $40.00-$52.50 hourly
- Eligible for up to 10% annual bonus

- Base salary and leveling are established on a case-by-case basis. We consider several factors to ensure a competitive offer, including your location, educational background, and a comprehensive assessment of the skills and experience demonstrated during your interviews.
