About the role
- Bus Assistant RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Transportation and Supervisor of Transportation.
- ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide safe and comfortable conditions for pupils who ride on SISD buses.
- To assist pupils as they enter and leave the bus, and assist in loading and unloading wheelchair pupils.
Responsibilities
- To prepare and maintain route sheets.
Requirements
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Must have a good attendance record.
- Must have good references.
- Working knowledge of computer keyboarding skills desired.
- To prepare reports and keep all the records required.
- To perform related duties as required by the Transportation Director and in assistance to the Bus Driver.
