About the role
- Wage and work place conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement.
- Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union.
- This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Uses a variety of Standard Inspection Equipment (SIE) to maintain integrity of conformance to part tolerances during fabrication.
- Performs off line programming using Master Cam/conversational software to setup and fabricate complex precision developmental parts and potential pre-production parts.

- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

- Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- Sets up and operates a variety of manual machines, utilizing general machining practices and optimum utilization of the tooling/set-ups required with minimal direct supervision.
- Applies a comprehensive knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Six years of recent experience in a Tool & Die or Journeyman Machinist occupation.
- Ability to setup and operate conventional Tool room machines, i.e., Mills, Lathes, and Grinders.
- Ability to work from blueprints.
- Must be able to work any designated shift to include overnight.
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Compensation
- Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
- Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
