About the role
- The Procurement Analyst Level 3 (Contracting Officer) plays a central role in managing ACS's human services procurement portfolio one of the most impactful and complex areas of City procurement.
- This role is ideal for procurement professionals who enjoy problem solving, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to procurement activities that have a direct impact on NYC communities.
- Under the supervision of the Deputy ACCO (DACCO) and Assistant Deputy ACCO (ADACCO), the Contracting Officer will:
Responsibilities
- The Administration for Children's Services (ACS) protects and promotes the safety and well-being of children and families through child welfare and juvenile justice services and community supports.
- ACS manages community-based supports and foster care services and provides subsidized childcare vouchers.
- The Office of Procurement supports the agency's mission by managing the procurement of contracts that deliver critical services to children, youth, and families throughout New York City.
- Assist in administering competitive solicitations (RFx) by preparing solicitation documents, coordinating evaluation activities, and reviewing proposals and bids for responsiveness.
Requirements
- An associate degree or completion of 60 semester credits from an accredited college, and 18 months of satisfactory, full-time professional experience as described in "1" above
Compensation
- THE SELECTED CANDIDATE WILL BE OFFERED A SALARY BETWEEN $80,196 - $89,000.
