Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair mechanical systems (air handlers, pumps, fan coils
- Operate and support rink refrigeration and ice-making systems
- Perform general facility repairs (drywall, flooring, doors, locker rooms, furnishings)
- Monitor building systems and respond quickly to operational needs
- Support tournaments, events, and high-traffic rink schedules
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment
- Complete and manage work orders using a computerized maintenance system
- As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the systems that support our rinks-from ice-making and refrigeration equipment to HVAC, plumbing, and overall building operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of facilities maintenance or related trade experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Nice to have
- chiller experience preferred)
- Experience working with refrigeration systems (ice rink experience a plus)
- Proficiency with hand tools, soldering, and basic fabrication (brazing/welding a plus)
