About the role

  • The Commercial Business Operations team is the connective tissue and operational backbone of PitchBook's Commercial organization.
  • We sit at the intersection of strategy and execution - close enough to leadership to understand where the business is going and embedded deeply enough in day-to-day operations to help get it there.
  • We believe the space between strategy and execution is where the most important work happens.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end program management for Commercial initiatives and evergreen programs, including scoping, planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and reporting
  • Build and maintain program dashboards and tracking systems, providing regular status updates to Commercial stakeholders
  • Identify and proactively manage risks, blockers, and scope changes across programs
  • Serve as the Commercial workstream lead within company-wide programs and strategic initiatives
  • Own the global Commercial knowledge infrastructure including the strategy and governance of the Commercial intranet site and resource centralization across teams and leadership levels
  • Support the evaluation and adoption of tools, technologies, and practices that enhance program delivery

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional work experience, including 2+ years in program management
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear status updates, executive-ready documentation, and program materials for diverse audiences
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Ability to build and maintain program dashboards, tracking systems, and status reporting frameworks
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across teams
  • Operate with a strong sense of urgency and deliver results

Nice to have

  • Experience owning knowledge management or resource centralization initiatives (intranet sites, decision logs, or similar) is preferred
