About the role

We're looking for a Communications Copywriter to join our Claims Communications team on a contract basis, based in Calgary (hybrid).
Review communications templates to ensure messaging is accurate, consistent, and aligned with organizational priorities
Identify gaps or inconsistencies in existing templates and recommend edits as needed

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure templates are fit for purpose and reflect the latest information
Support the delivery of communications from draft through to final approval
This is an exciting opportunity to support a key claims reform initiative in Alberta, with a primary focus on reviewing communications templates while contributing to clear, engaging content across the project.

A university graduate with a degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Approximately 2-4 years in communications, copywriting, or a related field
Experience in insurance or financial services is an asset
No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
Detail-oriented and thorough, with a strong eye for consistency, accuracy, and tone across communications content
A collaborative team player who takes initiative, communicates proactively, and manages multiple deliverables with ease
Comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting quickly as priorities shift

The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles.

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc.
