About the role
- Aptus Health Care is seeking a dedicated Teacher Aide/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our supportive educational environment.
- In this role you will assist clients with behavioral needs through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
- Your responsibilities include implementing individual education plans (IEPs), facilitating learning activities, and collecting data on student progress while creating a nurturing and engaging atmosphere for all students.
Requirements
- McAllen, TX 78503: Must be able to commute to office.
- Completion of the 40-hour RBT training module is required. (certificate would need to be completed before you start seeing clients)

Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Bachelor's (Preferred)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow lesson plans and implementation of ABA strategies.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to helping students succeed.
Compensation
- $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (rate may vary based on experience) Expected hours: 25 - 38 per week Flexible schedule Professional Development Assistance Medical Specialty: Pediatrics, ABA Therapy Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00-5:30PM Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) High School Diploma Ability to Relocate: Edinburg, TX 78539: Must be able to commute to office.
