About the role
- Polymer Testing Instruments is looking for a talented calibration technician to join its growing team in Fletcher, NC!

Responsibilities
- Perform work both in-house and at customer sites
- Document calibration data and service reports
- Maintain lab equipment and support occasional equipment sales
Requirements
- Mechanical and electrical/electronic proficiency
- Ability to travel frequently and occasionally on short notice
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Nice to have
- At least two years of hands‑on technical work experience
- Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
- Associate's, Bachelor's, or higher in a technical field
Skills
- Highly hands‑on, varied work
- Autonomy in the field with strong team support
- Opportunities to grow electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills
- Travel variety (primarily by car)
