About the role

  • Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Specialty Software Engineer in Irving, TX.
  • Job Role and Responsibility: Participate in complex initiatives on selected domains.
  • Assure quality, security and compliance for supported systems and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support, advice, and consultation with the issues relating to supported applications.
  • Create test data and conduct interfaces and unit tests.
  • Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Help us build a better Wells Fargo.
  • Understand and participate to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or related technical field.
  • Amount and type of experience required: 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related role involving software engineering experience.
  • Specific skills required:
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams for iterative development and delivery
  • Functional expertise across Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) domains, including Risk Management, Compliance Management, Audit Management, Issue Management, and Vendor Management
  • Industry experience in Banking and Financial Services, supporting compliance, risk, and audit functions.

Skills

  • Experience analyzing business requirements and designing scalable, efficient application solutions..
