Responsibilities
- Design and develop analog/digital circuits for microcontroller-based smart drug delivery systems, ensuring high performance and reliability in life-critical applications.
- Integrate electrical designs with mechanical and software components, ensuring manufacturability and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Define and support verification and validation testing, including development of test methods, protocols, and performance assessments.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, manage design deliverables and timelines, and communicate progress, risks, and results effectively.
- Perform circuit analysis and simulation (LTSpice/PSpice) to evaluate performance, environmental effects, and timing interfaces.
- Knowledge in design of embedded microcontroller-based electronics devices, including FPGA-based, digital and analog design.
- Specific experience in design and development of sensing subsystems highly desirable.
- Knowledge and experience using eCAD systems for printed circuit board schematic design and layout (Altium Designer, preferred), circuit analysis tools (LTSpice and Pspice), and data acquisition software (LabVIEW).
Nice to have
- Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering or related engineering field required.
- 1+ years related experience preferred.
Compensation
- To that end, this position has a salary range of $76,000 to $104,500 and also includes an annual incentive bonus.
- The above range represents the expected salary range for this position.
- The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
