About the role
- Manager, Claims - Midwest/South | Remote (WFH) Opportunity General Summary This position is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of claims within the assigned region.
- This role is accountable for driving team performance, ensuring service quality, and achieving results aligned with organizational goals.
- The manager establishes regional objectives, monitors key performance indicators, and ensures consistent, compliant, and timely claims handling across assigned jurisdictions.
Responsibilities

- Collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners is essential to maintaining regulatory compliance, optimizing claim outcomes, and delivering a high standard of customer service.
- This role manages workers' compensation claims adjusters across Midwest and Southern/gulf coast jurisdictions; candidates holding an active Florida workers' compensation adjuster license a plus.
- Plans, coordinates, and delegates business objectives that support the company's mission and financial success.
- Communicates mission and goals to the staff and builds support for company's objectives.
- Creates an environment that supports the corporate culture, fosters teamwork, values diversity, and respects all team and company staff-members, internal and external customers, and vendors.
- Creates a culture that embraces innovation, empowering supervisors and adjusters to participate in continuous improvement efforts and strengthening organizational resilience.
- Oversees departmental quality performance, establishing standards, benchmarks, and audit criteria to maintain high-level technical and regulatory execution.
- Identifies, modifies, and implements change when situations require quick and immediate action to achieve successful results.
- Analyzes statistical data and develops the claim office budget.
Requirements
- Candidates must be currently located in the United States and authorized to work without sponsorship.

Compensation
