About the role

  • As a Production Technician, you'll join a highly skilled operations team where every shift presents new challenges, learning opportunities, and the chance to make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper documentation for all safety-related activities
  • Perform routine field checks on processes and equipment according to established procedures
  • Support maintenance activities and coordinate corrective actions to optimize plant reliability
  • Participate in investigations and root cause analyses to identify and implement sustainable solutions
  • Conveys information clearly and persuasively to drive action
  • Efficiently manages time and resources

Requirements

  • Experience working in refining or petrochemical facilities
  • Experience Requirements
  • Senior-level technicians must have experience operating distributed control systems (DCS) and hold a Second or Third Class Power Engineer Certificate
  • Experience with the following is considered an asset:

Nice to have

  • Experience with plant commissioning and process troubleshooting (preferred)

  • Production Technicians work on one of four ten-person shift teams and are assigned to one of nine positions within the plant.
  • Shifts are 12 hours long, and work schedules may include up to seven consecutive shifts, covering both day and night rotations.

Compensation

  • Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP) at 4% of base pay
