About the role
- Agresta, Storms & O'Leary, PC (ASO) is a full-service CPA firm with offices across central and southern Indiana and approximately 40 full-time professionals.
- ASO is adding a Tax Supervisor to its growing team.
- This role is primarily in-office, with hybrid flexibility based on experience and performance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary day-to-day client contact on assigned engagements, building trusted relationships and resolving most technical questions directly
- Partner with Managers and Partners on engagement planning, budgeting, and risk assessment
- Support business development efforts as appropriate, including identifying expanded service opportunities within the existing client base
Requirements
- Active CPA license (required)
- 5-7 years of progressive public accounting experience with a broad tax background
- Track record of managing multiple concurrent engagements and meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality

Nice to have
- Experience with CCH tax software environment (or demonstrated ability to learn new platforms quickly)
- Demonstrated readiness to take on increasing supervisory and client management responsibility
- Familiarity with advisory services beyond compliance work
- Experience contributing to process or technology improvements within a tax practice
- A clear progression path toward Manager and Senior Manager roles, with active investment from firm leadership in your development
- Real ownership of engagements and client relationships rather than narrow technical specialization
- Direct exposure to firm leadership and meaningful input into how the practice grows and operates

- Compensation is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and the value the candidate brings to the practice.
