About the role

  • two days on, two days off, three days on, followed by two days off, two days on, and three days off.
  • Team members will work every other weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • They will troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as valves, conveyors, compressors, packers, fillers, palletizers, filters, membranes, separators, blow molders, labeling, and pumps.
  • Perform work order repairs, preventive maintenance inspections and repairs, equipment rebuilds and adjustments.
  • Create work orders for equipment repairs that include parts and document labor hours
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, schematics and drawings.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. on an occasional basis.
  • Grasping/Manipulating: Grasping and manipulating of papers, objects, and equipment will be required.
  • Ability to keyboard for data input will be required on an ongoing basis.
  • Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required that may affect product quality or food safety.
  • skills/qualifications required:
  • Have at least 3 years' experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and basic electrical repair.

  • Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
