- Track and monitor actual vs planned project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts to ensure financial control.
Responsibilities
- Works directly with the project manager to create and maintain a project's budget and schedule work, analyze progress reported against the work schedules, and recommend actions to improve progress.
- Build and maintain an integrated project schedule using industry software to include resource loading, creating calendars, and coding structures.
- Develop and maintain manpower curves.
- Maintain accurate project files and produce reports as needed or requested.
- Develop risk mitigations and contingency planning.
Requirements
- QPS Flint Construction is a merit shop contractor with more than 60 years of experience delivering civil, mechanical, and structural construction solutions for the energy industry.
- Initiative - Recognizes, plans and acts appropriately on one's own to upcoming problems or opportunities and/or does more than is expected or required within his/her scope of work.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Project Management or similar, combined with experience to manage a set of varying quantities and sizes of projects.
- Minimum of 5 years controlling projects.
