About the role
- Join WellPower's Juvenile Justice Program and be part of a team providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive mental health services to youth involved in the juvenile justice system.
- Services are primarily delivered in homes, clinics, schools, and other community settings.
- We are seeking a Master's level intern in Social Work or Counseling who is interested in community-based work with justice involved youth.
Responsibilities
- Supporting youth in building stability and reducing system involvement
- Engaging in case management and coordination with probation officers, schools, and community partners
- The intern will have the opportunity to provide individual therapy, family therapy, crisis support, safety planning, psychoeducation, and case management services under close supervision.

- Minimum of 10 hours per week, with 15 to 20 hours preferred, along with a 9-to-12-month commitment aligned with the academic calendar.
- Placement typically begins in late summer or early fall.
