About the role

Join WellPower's Juvenile Justice Program and be part of a team providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive mental health services to youth involved in the juvenile justice system.
Services are primarily delivered in homes, clinics, schools, and other community settings.
We are seeking a Master's level intern in Social Work or Counseling who is interested in community-based work with justice involved youth.

Supporting youth in building stability and reducing system involvement
Engaging in case management and coordination with probation officers, schools, and community partners
The intern will have the opportunity to provide individual therapy, family therapy, crisis support, safety planning, psychoeducation, and case management services under close supervision.

Minimum of 10 hours per week, with 15 to 20 hours preferred, along with a 9-to-12-month commitment aligned with the academic calendar.
Placement typically begins in late summer or early fall.
