About the role
- We're looking for a versatile communications and community engagement professional who can help move data center projects forward.
- You'll combine community engagement with strong communication skills and experience in permitting and public meetings.
- This position has a strong external focus, crafting and sharing our data center narrative with a strong impact on policy-making through advocacy and press stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Partner with permitting and community-engagement teams to understand local concerns and support project progress.
- Support press and storytelling around community engagement projects in our local data center communities in partnership with our Community Engagement Leads.
- Develop clear narratives and communications that explain projects, energy needs and policy positions to relevant stakeholders.
- Build alignment across teams, influence decisions and help resolve issues that span policy, communications and development.
- Think creatively about communications and the channels used, working with the Public Affairs teams to deliver integrated execution of initiatives.
- Help shape energy policy approaches that support data center development and translate policy considerations into practical recommendations.
- Experience managing social media messaging and campaigns in support of project initiatives

- Experience with policy communication (on energy for example)

- Experience in energy policy and an ability to connect policy decisions to infrastructure development.
