Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies across the full product development lifecycle.
- Own engineering deliverables from concept refinement through detailed design, validation, and production release.
- Build robust, manufacturable designs grounded in strong engineering principles and DFMA methodology.
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, specifications, and product documentation.
- Run engineering analysis, tolerance assessments, risk evaluations, and trade-off studies to drive design decisions.
- Plan, build, and test prototypes to validate performance, reliability, and user experience.
- Partner with Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, Software, Quality, and Manufacturing to deliver integrated solutions.
- Support supplier engagement and manufacturing development to ensure successful industrialization.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement fixes for technical challenges across development and testing.
- Support product verification, validation, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- A degree in Product Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Design Engineering.
- High proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, or comparable CAD.
Compensation
- $78,000 - $110,000 USD
