About the role
- Primarily responsible for the overall safety, quality and productivity of the production areas ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining cost of goods sold (COGS) to budget plans.
- Administer Company rules, regulations & safety policies, initiating and recommending corrective actions
Responsibilities
- Creates, posts and communicates to ensure everyone understands their role in achieving plant commitments; Guide workforce in the compliance to Standard Work, recommends improvements in Work Instructions, methods, processes, policies and equipment and ensures operators are informed
Requirements
- 2 years of CNC and/or Lathe machining supervisory experience
- Addresses issues and maintains availability to operators to answer questions as required
- Required Minimum Qualifications
- HS Diploma/GED required
- Preference given to candidates with BS Degree
- Employees will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by the Supervisor.
Nice to have
- Skills and Experience: 5 years of previous manufacturing experience, including exposure to leading/directing the work of others
