Operations Analyst Job Description How You Can Make an Impact Geneva Trading is seeking an Operations Analyst to join our Operations team in our Chicago office.
The ideal candidate has a strong academic background and excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

Perform daily trading reconciliations and other post-trade activities, including investigating and identifying the root cause of trade breaks.
Manage monthly invoice reconciliation with exchanges, clearing firms, and other counterparties.
Model, analyze, and optimize existing and new tools.
Partner with our accounting department to ensure that they receive detailed reconciliation reports.
Manage external vendor relationships.
Manage ad hoc projects and requests on a day-to-day basis.
Experience utilizing modern AI tools, Large Language Models (LLMs), or basic Python-based data libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) to build automated workflows or analyze large datasets is highly desirable.

BS degree in a STEM-related field of study with a solid academic record required.
Proven ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in high-pressure situations to meet demanding deadlines.
2+ years' experience - financial services experience is required.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
Experience with SQL/SQL Server is strongly desired.
Ability to troubleshoot, research, and resolve complex issues.
Develop a strong understanding of our proprietary systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.

$90,000 - $120,000 + Eligible for performance based bonus
The final salary determination will be dependent on the successful candidate's skills, experience, education, and qualifications.
