  • Reporting to the Director of the Center for Wellness, the Staff Assistant I/Receptionist provides receptionist duties to a busy massage and acupuncture center with courtesy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all personal business away from patients and all work areas.
  • Support for families and caregivers

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional, customer-service oriented experience.

Nice to have

  • Ability to effectively and politely communicate with people from various, diverse backgrounds, work well on a team, and multi-task.

Skills

  • College degree.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours required.
  • Standard Hours/Schedule: 17.5 hours per week
  • Tuesday 2:00pm - 8:00pm
  • Wednesday 2:00pm - 7:30pm
  • Thursday 2:00pm - 8pm
  • Friday-Monday OFF

  • Communicates to other staff members/group leader prior to leaving unit for break or lunch periods and prior to leaving for the day in order to ensure appropriate coverage.
  • Identifies own learning needs and requests assistance from others when needed.
  • Attends staff meetings and educational offerings required by the department.
  • Plans for time off in advance and according to clinic policy.
