- Reporting to the Director of the Center for Wellness, the Staff Assistant I/Receptionist provides receptionist duties to a busy massage and acupuncture center with courtesy and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Performs all personal business away from patients and all work areas.
- Support for families and caregivers
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional, customer-service oriented experience.
Nice to have
- Ability to effectively and politely communicate with people from various, diverse backgrounds, work well on a team, and multi-task.
Skills
- College degree.
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours required.
- Standard Hours/Schedule: 17.5 hours per week
- Tuesday 2:00pm - 8:00pm
- Wednesday 2:00pm - 7:30pm
- Thursday 2:00pm - 8pm
- Friday-Monday OFF

- Communicates to other staff members/group leader prior to leaving unit for break or lunch periods and prior to leaving for the day in order to ensure appropriate coverage.
- Identifies own learning needs and requests assistance from others when needed.
- Attends staff meetings and educational offerings required by the department.
- Plans for time off in advance and according to clinic policy.
