Responsibilities
- Techno is assembling seeking a Construction Safety Specialist to support the Port Authority Office of Safety Management on active construction projects throughout the New York/New Jersey region.
- Maintain daily safety documentation and collaborate with Port Authority staff, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Port Authority SIDA credential and work in active outdoor construction environments, including evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime, and rotating shifts as needed.
- We deliver impactful water/wastewater, transportation, and public works projects for clients including NYCDDC, NYCDEP, and the Port Authority of NY & NJ.

Requirements
- Experience with contractor safety audits, hazard assessments, incident investigations, and construction safety reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction safety management software.
Nice to have
- CHST certification, a bachelor's degree in Safety or Construction Management, Port Authority experience, and OCIP/CCIP project experience are preferred.
Compensation
- The anticipated compensation range for this position is $65/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
