About the role

About the Job We're hiring a CFO for our rapidly-growing bioengineering company as we move closer to the next phase of our evolution.
Reporting to the CEO & Co-founder, this person will work on all facets of financial management, including cash management, financial planning & analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning.
In this role, you'll work closely with the CEO and the executive leadership team to expand the foundation of the finance and accounting function at Ossium and set the company up for successful continued growth and scale.

Partnering with the People team to map out department structure, create job descriptions, and interview for key finance and accounting positions
Advanced ability to develop financial strategy, including projections, modeling, and profitability analysis across business lines
Dynamic executive presence and excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with senior and C-level partners and investors
Proven success in taking a business through scale and building out finance programs to support that growth

10+ years experience as a senior financial executive (VP/C-level) in a public company
Hands-on knowledge of public market offerings
Experience working with external auditors (including a PCAOB audit), compliance, and regulatory oversight
track record of guiding internal and external stakeholders through complex financial transactions

Develop comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and analytics for our management team; prepare and present quarterly and annual financial statements, investor updates, and board materials
This position has a salary range of $301,540 - $393,690 annually.
The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.

Partnering closely with the CEO to lay the foundation for a successful transition to a public company
