About the role

Nexvel is seeking a part-time Social Media Specialist who understands both the art and science of social media specializing in organic content.
10% travel to client locations throughout Philadelphia, Bucks County, Montgomery County, and surrounding areas to capture social-first video and photography.

The opportunity to create social content for a diverse portfolio of local businesses and industries.
You will support a portfolio of local businesses across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
RESPONSBILITIES Develop monthly content calendars and post concepts aligned with each client's brand, audience, and marketing priorities.
Partner with Nexvel's account lead to gather client input, manage content approvals, and ensure content aligns with broader marketing priorities.
We're looking for an Account Manager who can help us deliver that experience at a higher level.
Create branded graphics, carousels, stories, and other organic social content using Canva.
Use AI tools to support research, ideation, caption development, content repurposing, workflow efficiency, and quality control while maintaining human oversight and brand accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to create engaging organic social media content.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client calendars, deadlines, assets, and approval processes.

2 to 3 years of professional social media experience within an agency, or in-house client side marketing team.
Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, including platform-specific content formats and best practices.
Proficiency in Canva and CapCut is required.
Experience using social media scheduling and publishing platforms such as SocialPilot, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Later, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools.
Ability to capture high-quality, social-first video and photography using a smartphone and lightweight production equipment.
Strong writing and editing skills, including the ability to adapt captions and messaging across different industries and brand voices.
Familiarity with AI tools and their practical applications in social media content creation and workflow management.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
QUALIFICATIONS Required 2 to 3 years of professional social media experience within an agency, or in-house client side marketing team.

Agency experience or experience supporting multiple brands or accounts is strongly preferred.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, in-platform editing tools, or similar creative software is preferred.

Edit Reels, TikToks and other short-form videos using CapCut, in-platform editing tools, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar software.
