About the role

  • The RBC Team is hiring for System Engineer role within GFT Team.
  • Takes pride in writing robust, fault-tolerant, self-healing code, ensuring system reliability.
  • Coordinating coding, testing, implementation and documentation of application solutions.

Responsibilities

  • As a System Engineer, you provide support for a suite of business mission-critical and complex applications, understanding both front and back-end of the applications.
  • Leads and hands on in the quality control and QE testing of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
  • You'll work closely with architecture, DevOps, business, and analytics teams to deliver systems that meet enterprise-grade standards for performance, observability, security, and maintainability.
  • Applies extensive, in-depth knowledge, skills, and practices to perform complex assignments.
  • Lead and hands on:
  • Create test plans, test cases and test scripts based on complex requirement documents and business
  • User Stories Lead and hands on:
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites
  • Execute automated test cases, document test results and raise defects whenever necessary.
  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain production-grade Python applications for batch data processing, APIs, and web applications.

Requirements

  • Computer Engineering, Computer Science degree/diploma or equivalent experience Nice-to-have Experience in a variety of test automation frameworks/tools (e.g., SoapUI/ReadyAPI, Postman, Selenium, JMeter).
