Responsibilities

  • The IT Scrum Master is a special role in an Agile Team who spends much of their time leading & helping other team members communicate, coordinate, and cooperate; generally, this person leads the team in meeting their delivery goals.
  • The Scrum Master is a facilitative leader who helps teams self-organize, self-manage, and deliver via effective Agile practices.
  • The Scrum Master supports and enforces the principles of the Scrum process and other practices that the team has agreed upon.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years experience in a Scrum Master role implementing Agile methodologies and Scrum principles.
  • Project management experience for software development a plus.
  • Experience working in IT/Technical environments, with the ability to understand development concepts, system integrations, data workflows, and infrastructure
  • In-depth understanding of Agile values, principles and the Scrum framework
  • Understands IT backlog grooming, tracking, burndown/burn-up charts, velocity, and task definition
  • Understands long-term product planning in an empirical environment and techniques to become more effective
  • Scrum Master certification

Compensation

  • $40k-$50k
