The IT Scrum Master is a special role in an Agile Team who spends much of their time leading & helping other team members communicate, coordinate, and cooperate; generally, this person leads the team in meeting their delivery goals.
The Scrum Master is a facilitative leader who helps teams self-organize, self-manage, and deliver via effective Agile practices.
The Scrum Master supports and enforces the principles of the Scrum process and other practices that the team has agreed upon.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
3-5 years experience in a Scrum Master role implementing Agile methodologies and Scrum principles.
Project management experience for software development a plus.
Experience working in IT/Technical environments, with the ability to understand development concepts, system integrations, data workflows, and infrastructure
In-depth understanding of Agile values, principles and the Scrum framework
Understands IT backlog grooming, tracking, burndown/burn-up charts, velocity, and task definition
Understands long-term product planning in an empirical environment and techniques to become more effective
Scrum Master certification
