About the role

Produce high-quality CT images and evaluate them for technical accuracy and diagnostic quality.
Correctly identify patients and accurately label all imaging studies.
Exercise sound clinical judgment when selecting and modifying imaging protocols as appropriate.

Administer contrast media in accordance with established policies and maintain accurate documentation of medication administration.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, departmental procedures, and all applicable regulatory and accreditation standards, including Joint Commission requirements.
Position Summary The CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic CT imaging procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient care, image quality, and safety.
Perform a variety of clinical CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program required.
Current ARRT certification required.
Certification to administer contrast media required.
Minimum of one (1) year of diagnostic radiology experience required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.

CT experience preferred.
Knowledge of computerized axial tomography (CT) principles, equipment, and procedures preferred.
