About the role
- Produce high-quality CT images and evaluate them for technical accuracy and diagnostic quality.
- Correctly identify patients and accurately label all imaging studies.
- Exercise sound clinical judgment when selecting and modifying imaging protocols as appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Administer contrast media in accordance with established policies and maintain accurate documentation of medication administration.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, departmental procedures, and all applicable regulatory and accreditation standards, including Joint Commission requirements.
- Position Summary The CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic CT imaging procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient care, image quality, and safety.
- Perform a variety of clinical CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program required.
- Current ARRT certification required.
- Certification to administer contrast media required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of diagnostic radiology experience required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
Nice to have
- CT experience preferred.
- Knowledge of computerized axial tomography (CT) principles, equipment, and procedures preferred.
Compensation
- Posted Salary Range USD $54.51 - USD $67.48 /Hr.
