- Work Location and Work Time The Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist (LIHTC/HUD) will be assigned to Baltimore.
Responsibilities
- We support community development organizations on the ground, aggregate and invest capital for impact, advance housing policy at every level of government, and build and manage communities ourselves.
- You will collaborate with some of the smartest minds and biggest hearts in our field.
Requirements
- Ability to travel to any community in the Enterprise Residential portfolio, if needed.
- Travel, including some out of state, overnight, and extended stay, may be required.
Nice to have
- Ensure compliance policies from ownership, management, and regulatory agencies (e.g., HUD, LIHTC, HOME, etc.) are implemented at the site level.
- Train property managers and leasing staff on eligibility requirements, income verification, and documentation standards.
- Lease-Up Compliance Oversight (New Construction)
- Oversee tenant file processing and approval during initial lease-up to ensure all residents meet program eligibility criteria.
- Monitor leasing progress to align with regulatory deadlines and tax credit requirements.
- Conduct pre-occupancy and initial compliance audits to identify and correct errors early.
- Resyndication Compliance Management
- Ensure continued resident eligibility and proper recertification during resyndication.
