About the role
- This role is responsible for the disconnection, relocation, reconnection, and setup of computer workstations, including new deployments and office moves.
- The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-focused, and comfortable working in fast-paced corporate environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic hardware troubleshooting and escalate issues when necessary
- Provide basic end-user support during workstation setup and transition
- Potential for long-term assignments or growth within IT support teams
Requirements
- Experience with workstation setup, hardware deployment, or desktop support
- Strong knowledge of PC hardware, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals
- Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments
- Ability to lift and move equipment (typically up to 40-50 lbs)
- Ability to follow instructions, processes, and timelines
- Required Skills & Qualifications
Nice to have
- Experience working in corporate or enterprise IT environments
- A+ certification or similar technical certification
- May involve walking, standing, bending, and lifting throughout the day
- Occasional after-hours or weekend work for large moves or deployments
- Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
- Opportunity to travel and gain experience with Data Center projects
Compensation
- $20 - $25 per hour
