About the role
- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Vice President (AVP) with strong business analyst skills to join our team.
- Your expertise in Commercial banking Products, Payment processing, Card products, and industry standards (such as TSYS, MasterCard, Bottomline, Fiserv, and SpendLabs ) will be critical in driving innovation and ensuring seamless customer experiences.
- This role will be reporting to head of MUFG Commercial Card technology.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for technology projects.
- Develop detailed business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Provide ongoing support to business users, troubleshoot issues, and propose enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and compliance, to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and industry stakeholders to drive innovation and enhance our product offerings.
- Participate in architectural discussions, system design, and technology evaluations.

Requirements
- Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Experience with TSYS, MasterCard, Bottomline, Fiserv, and SpendLabs card products.
- Proficiency of microservices architecture, APIs, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Application development experience on data platforms, leveraging structured query language (SQL), extract-transform-load (ETL) tools, and object-oriented languages (Java, Python, C#)
- Experience managing teams in Agile environments
Nice to have
- Prior experience in financial services, banking, or fintech is a plus.
