About the role

Thank you for your interest in joining Solventum.
The Import analyst will report to the Trade Operations Manager for US and Canada.

While we continue updating the Solventum Careers Page and applicant materials, some documents may still reflect legacy branding.
Work on import-related topics as part of a cross-function team including legal counsel (internal and external), Global Trade Compliance, and other impacted business partners
Work with Global Trade Compliance to research Partner Government Agencies (PGA) requirements with Solventum business partners and determine processes to share relevant data with brokers
Identify missing Harmonized Tariff codes for goods and products managed by Solventum and work closely with Global Trade partners to remedy

Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start date) AND five (5) years of Import Trade Compliance experience in a private, public, government or military environment
High School Diploma/GED AND nine (9) years of Import Trade Compliance experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Master's degree (completed and verified prior to start)
Licensed U.S. Customs Broker
Experience using Automated Commercial Environment (ACE)
Experience supporting U.S. import activities at a U.S. Customs Broker or as an Import Specialist with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
Experience using SAP Global Trade Services (GTS)
Three (3) or more years of experience developing control plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), or training materials
Experience preparing written communications and presenting information to stakeholders
Experience resolving complex trade compliance or import-related issues impacting multiple stakeholders or workstreams

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $96,000 - $132,000, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
