About the role
- Thank you for your interest in joining Solventum.
- The Import analyst will report to the Trade Operations Manager for US and Canada.
Responsibilities
- While we continue updating the Solventum Careers Page and applicant materials, some documents may still reflect legacy branding.
- Work on import-related topics as part of a cross-function team including legal counsel (internal and external), Global Trade Compliance, and other impacted business partners
- Work with Global Trade Compliance to research Partner Government Agencies (PGA) requirements with Solventum business partners and determine processes to share relevant data with brokers
- Identify missing Harmonized Tariff codes for goods and products managed by Solventum and work closely with Global Trade partners to remedy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start date) AND five (5) years of Import Trade Compliance experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- High School Diploma/GED AND nine (9) years of Import Trade Compliance experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Nice to have
- Master's degree (completed and verified prior to start)
- Licensed U.S. Customs Broker
- Experience using Automated Commercial Environment (ACE)
- Experience supporting U.S. import activities at a U.S. Customs Broker or as an Import Specialist with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
- Experience using SAP Global Trade Services (GTS)
- Three (3) or more years of experience developing control plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), or training materials
- Experience preparing written communications and presenting information to stakeholders
- Experience resolving complex trade compliance or import-related issues impacting multiple stakeholders or workstreams
Compensation
- Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $96,000 - $132,000, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
