About the role

It operates across four core markets: political news and opinion, business news and personal finance, golf, and sports and genre entertainment.
Originals, including The Rundown, E!'s flagship digital entertainment news franchise.
This role is essential in helping bring daily celebrity news coverage, exclusive interviews, red carpet content, and original digital programming to life across multiple series and platforms.

Assist with pre-production planning, including scheduling, brainstorming interview questions, production logistics, guest preparation, run-of-shows, and production documents.
Monitor entertainment news, social media trends, and pop culture developments to support editorial planning and content ideation.
Serve as on-set support during productions, assisting with talent arrivals, production needs, crew coordination, and shoot execution.
Organize project materials, production trackers, calendars, shared drives, and internal documentation.
Support post-production workflows by ingesting media, gathering assets, tracking deliverables, organizing feedback, and uploading finished episodes to social media scheduler.
Support other original and live productions as needed.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written communication and copy‑editing skills, with the ability to review and refine your own work for accuracy and clarity.
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced production environment.

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Production, Film, Television, or equivalent professional experience.
1+ years of experience supporting digital media, television, production, or entertainment content teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack, and Dropbox.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and fluent in digital storytelling.
A strong understanding of how content performs across platforms is crucial.
As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with a VERSANT Media employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.

Deep knowledge of celebrity news, entertainment trends, reality television, and social media culture.
Strong research and fact-checking skills.
Strong understanding of digital production trends and how to utilize them to optimize our series.
Positive attitude and willingness to jump into any task, large or small.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and digital video production workflows is a plus.
Additional Requirements:

$50,000-$60,000
