About the role

  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, applying GD&T principles (ASME Y14.5 or equivalent) to inspection and production planning.
  • Technical writing and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Shift Hours: 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday Key Responsibilities Develop, review, and maintain quality control documentation to meet AS9100, customer, and internal standards.
  • Balloon customer and internal drawings; create and maintain inspection plans and shop-floor documentation.
  • Manage revision control for internal and external changes; update and distribute documentation accordingly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with quality tasks across inspection, receiving, and other areas as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with safety procedures and PPE requirements.

  • This position is responsible for advanced product quality planning, developing and maintaining accurate quality documentation, and supporting manufacturing operations to ensure the delivery of conforming products.

Requirements

  • Required Skills & Competencies Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings with GD&T standards.
  • Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately in noisy environments.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Nice to have

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • technical certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and AS9102 standards preferred.
