Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments.
  • Cost accounting experience in an operational environment.
  • Experience with inventory accounting and fixed asset management.
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits.

  • The Senior Accountant will serve as a key member of the site leadership team, responsible for financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close activities, and operational financial analysis.

  • Essential Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
  • Prepare internal cost reports, operational analyses, and key performance metrics.
  • Coordinate cross-functional accounting projects and process improvements.
  • Analyze operational costs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assist with inventory accounting and valuation of materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
