About the role
- Physical Therapist (PT) - PRN Kern River Transitional Care Pay Range: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour Kern River Transitional Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team.
- The ideal candidate is resident-centered, team-oriented, and committed to helping residents improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and overall functional independence.
- This position also conducts in-services and training for facility staff on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence.
- Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control, safety, and equipment maintenance protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information and company information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Ability to read technical procedures.
- Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, residents, and families.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Education and/or Experience
- Proficiency with computer systems, including entering data into programs such as Net Health and PointClickCare.
- Language Skills
- Mathematical Skills
- Reasoning Ability
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Nice to have
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
Compensation
- Pay Range: $65.00 – $75.00 per hour
